LamarqueFilm is an independent film production company based in Vancouver, Canada, founded by Byron Lamarque and Marilee Lamarque.

Byron Lamarque has established a successful track record of festival-programmed short films including: L’Étrangère, After, Still Life with Scissors, Once Upon a Time on the Beach and Hide. Once Upon a Time on the Beach was nominated for six LEO AWARDS, winning “Best Direction in a Short”. All films to date have had multiple screenings at the Toronto International Film Festival as well as the Vancouver, Whistler, India, Portland, Santa Barbara, Cork, and Edinburgh International Film Festivals, and on national television.

In 2007, Byron formed LamarqueFilm with his wife, Marilee, to create a producer-director partnership. Together they wrote a feature length script called Dancing with Shadows and went on to produce the film with production financing support from Telefilm Canada.

Intrusion, a feature-length drama. Written by Geoff Inverarity.

The Other Side of Dreams, a feature-length drama about a young aspiring actress who escorts a producer to a pary at which she hopes all her dreams will be fulfiled.

In This House, a feature-length drama about a father whose fundamentalist beliefs stand between him and authentic relationship with his son.

Revulsion, a feature-length thriller dealing with greed and obsession set against a background of genetic engineering. The project has been development with support from Telefilm Canada.



Apartment 202, a feature-length noir murder mystery about a young woman who suspects her upstairs neighbour is luring young men to their death.



Atonement Project, a reality television series about redemption and reconciliation.



The First Stone, a feature-length 'road movie' about the unlikely companionship of a Catholic priest and a Las Vegas gigolo.
